FAQ

Training fees are determined during your dog’s free behavioral evaluation, and are also based on your individual goals (basic or advanced obedience). Our rates are among the most competitive, and programs are available to meet your budget.

Our customers see results immediately! After her first lesson with her 4 month-old Golden Retriever, Michelle Nadeau of Taunton, MA offered this comment:

Lessons are conducted in your home, and in and around your neighborhood. This approach allows you to address specific issues that you’re having with your dog in your home, yard or area. The familiar environment is beneficial to your dog in many ways, and also provides you with the convenience of having a trainer come to you. Group classes are held every other Sunday in Quincy, MA.
Yes! Family participation is encouraged and can be fun for everyone involved. Children and adults alike can benefit from the enjoyment of watching their dog learn and grow from the training they provide.
The best time to start training is when your dog is a puppy (8 weeks), but it’s never too late to start training. Dogs as old as 8 years have started, and successfully, completed obedience training with American Alpha K9 Training.

Each of your private lessons will last about an hour, and are conducted once a week or once every other week. Ideally, offering your dog 10 to 15 minutes of your time, three times a day, will help you achieve your goals.
