In-Home Sessions & Kindergarten Groups

A common mistake people make with their puppies is waiting until it reaches 6 months of age before introducing any kind of formal training. By 6 months, a young pup has already established a lot of unwanted behaviors, and although training can still be successfully applied, avoiding these behaviors altogether is the better approach.

With American Alpha K9 Training you’ll learn to take advantage of your puppy’s Critical Development Stages. Simple techniques provided to you will help you shape your puppy into an obedient and well rounded dog…it’s educational and fun!

With American Alpha K9 Training, the in-home sessions will allow you to begin obedience training immediately, and will help you establish your puppy’s day-to-day routines. Early relationship development will help your puppy understand its place in your home and in your family pack. The kindergarten group classes are a critical component in any puppy’s life and will provide important socialization with other puppies, and because we’ve had private sessions at the house, everyone shows up already familiar with the training, which benefits both the owner and the puppy and creates a very productive environment.

Subjects covered:

Housebreaking – crate training – play biting – teething – early relationship development – destructive chewing – jumping – identifying early signs of aggression – introduction into obedience commands (sit, down, stay, heel, come, leash walking and much more!).
